Providing opportunities, creating inclusion, promoting independence.

why GIFTS is here

Our vision

GIFTS supports people with disabilities by recognizing their right to employment, social, recreational and educational access, and housing in their community.

GIFTS was originally formed by families to ensure that their sons and daughters living with disabilities were supported to participate in activities of their choice in their community.

What GIFTS can do for you

Meeting your needs

In 2001, a partnership with School District 64 was created to support students and their families with the transition from high school to adulthood. Together GIFTS and SD64 work with eligible students to prepare for future opportunities and experiences. Individuals access a GIFTS support worker who works to facilitate goals identified in a Transition Plan.

Who gifts can help

empowering your loved ones

Support workers provide support to individuals based on individual plans. Plans may include independent living skills, employment, volunteer, or recreation activities.

GIFTS also assists individuals and families with respite, residential support, training and long range planning.
